Read between the lines

Updated: Jun 30, 2020

After a very long hiatus, I'm back to blog on all things writing related. Craft, goals, publication, and my personal journey. Years ago I blogged avidly on PK HREZO and began a meandering self-publishing journey that didn't go exactly as planned.

That's life, eh? Messy, and often full of diversions.

Now I'm back from outer space. (props to Gloria Gaynor for the lyric) and speaking of all things celestial, in my return to the blogosphere and publishing world, I'm ready to come out of the closet. Spiritually, that is.

Spirituality is an enormous part of who I am, and I do not wish to downplay or mask that part of myself in order to make others more comfortable, even in the writing and book world. Especially in my work.

While I may veer in direction to spiritual things at time, I promise to always be respectful of other perspectives, and open to discussion. But the truth is plain and simple: I'm a spiritual being, and I seek guidance from Jehovah-God, His son Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit in all aspects of my life. Let me be clear: I do not associate myself with any particular religious sect or denomination. I call myself Christian only by the meaning of follower of Christ, not through doctrine of mankind. My spirituality is based in biblical teachings, prayer, and guidance.

My stories and art do not revolve around my faith, yet whispers of deeper meaning do find their way into my work, and I will not hide that for fear of offending readers. By doing that, I give power to a darker force. Who I am is a result of my relationship with God, and I can't quiet that part of me for a world who tirelessly tries to take faith out of living.

You do you. I'll do me. *wink wink*

Mind you, my own personal path and stories are anything but prudish or boring. I've been blessed with an adventurous life, and my upcoming series of releases involve troubled main characters living lives of freedom and adventure, but through revelation and redemption, learn to see the world in a new light. I can't wait to share them with you!

I may have been on hiatus, but I've been writing feverishly and studying craft. I feel really good about my work and hope you'll be entertained by it.

Thanks for stopping by. I'll be back soon with more updates. New releases won't be available for another few months, but you can find my earlier works on Amazon here:
